This week is the first post I get to shoot with my brand new camera, woohoo! Yes, after months of research, saving and ogling I decided it was finally time to purchase my new camera. After seeing the results I’m now wishing I bought it months ago! The images are so clear and makes everything look 1000 times better than my old D90 photos (aww but I still love you D90 – all the things we’ve seen together!). Recently I decided to make a batch of wonderfully spicy, winter-warming mulled wine. My friend has been talking about mulled wine for the past few weeks which inspired me to make some for myself! And with the end of winter just around the corner (THANK GOODNESS!) I thought I’d better get a wriggle on. I think this tastes delicious, of course it goes without saying, if it doesn’t have enough ‘zing’ for your liking, add a few more spices to taste.

What can I say? Wow! If I knew that homemade sweet chilli sauce was this easy (and tasty) I definitely would have made this sooner. Last week we went to the Vic’ markets and bought a big ol’ bag of chillies. Luckily we had everything else in the cupboard, but to be honest there really isn’t much to it.
